About our campsite

Our rural campsite is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and as there is so little light pollution, the sky is truly spectacular on a clear night.

Campers enjoy well-kept amenities such as the nearby toilet and shower block, a shared indoor space for food prep, drying clothes, etc., as well as access to a fridge, freezer, kettle and charging area to charge your phone and other small devices.

We have only ten pitches across two areas, one being larger (7 pitches) and focused around a picturesque central communal area with tables and seating, the second being tucked behind the bank and overlooking a field often used for sheep and cattle.

Following the success of the last two years' re-wilding approach, our campsite will follow the same format this year. Each spacious, neatly mown pitch is nestled between areas of wild grasses and flowers to support wildlife, as well as make your stay feel a little more secluded.

Dogs are welcome (max. 2 per pitch) and are asked to be kept on the lead at all times to avoid worrying the farm animals. The nearby coast path and countryside offer plentiful walking opportunities, and we are also within easy reach of the Camel Trail, which offers a safe, flat cycle track from Bodmin to Padstow.

We provide a fire pit for each pitch, which is available to hire for a small fee. As a  thank you, we offer these free of charge to returning customers. We sell firewood, kindling and firelighters, and these are pre-bookable when booking your stay.

The campsite is set within the grounds of Trelay Farm, which is a 32-acre smallholding run as an intentional community by residents who aim to tread lightly on the land.
